Watford Muslim Women's Organisation- Luncheon Club
This activity is run by the Muslim Project and provides a Halal meal to the local elderly women for a small sum. Other activities include spiritual recitation, gentle exercise and health awareness. Transport is provided.
Pilates
This represents a unique approach to exercise that develops body awareness, improving and changing the body's postural and alignment habits and increasing flexibility and ease of movement. This activity is run by the centre on Monday evenings and caters for women only, at both beginner and intermediate.
Dar-ul-Hikmah-Qur'an Class
This a religious education class where Muslim children learn about the teachings of the Qur'an.
Fujian White Crane-Kung Fu
FWC offers the ultimate martial arts training for body, mind and spirit on Mondays and Wednesdays. Open to all, the classes are designed to allow each individual to pursue their maximum potential, be they experienced martial artists or complete beginners.
Dosti Luncheon Club
The Watford Asian Community Care Project runs this activity. They provide a Vegetarian meal to the local elderly Asian community for a small sum. Other activities included are trips, health awareness and light exercise. Transport provided.
Baby Clinic
The Primary Care Trust's Health Visitors runs this for babies and toddlers where various health checks are carried out. A play session is also organised.
Bollywood Aerobics
This activity is run by the centre on Thursday evenings and caters for women only and combines aerobics,circuits and boxercise to the latest Bollywood Tunes.
Parent & Toddler Group
This runs on Fridays and its many activities range from soft play area for babies through to bikes, slides, activity toys and crafts for 0 to 5 year olds. Each session is finished off with a story and singing session.
Bangladeshi Prayer Group
This prayer is lead by the Watford Bangladeshi Association to keep alive and promote the use of the Bengali mother tongue.
